General Rules & Regulations

Admission

The School year begins in June & ends in March. At the time of admission the student should be personally introduced by the parent / guardian who will be responsible to the school authorities for studies & conduct.

School Uniform

The school uniform is obligatory on all school days and official functions. It is the duty of the parents to see that the student comes to school neatly dressed in the prescribed uniform. No jewelry is permitted except small ear studs. Girls must use only black hair bands & Clips (no ornament is permitted on the hair including flowers) All boys should wear vests and all girls should wear petticoat and bloomer.

Attendance

No student shall be absent from the class without sufficient reason. Parents / Guardian must clearly state the reason for the absence in the Leave Record of the School Diary.

Students are not allowed to go out of the campus during school hours, including recess time.

Those who absent themselves without prior permission shall not enter the class without the Principal’s permission. Unauthorized absence for more than 15 days will lead to removal from the rolls.

Students suffering from contagious diseases will not be permitted to attend school. In case of serious illness the Principal must be informed within 5 days or it will lead to removal from the rolls.

tudents of classes VII, VIII, IX, X, XI & XII will have special classes during the month of May Attendance is compulsory.

School Bus

School Bus will be available on selected routes. Students are expected to be well behaved and quiet while waiting of the bus – stop and while traveling in the school bus.

Fee Regulations

School fees must be paid before the commencement of each term. Defaulters will have to pay fine. Fee receipts must be retained and produced as a proof of payment, if needed.

Discipline

Discipline is an integral part of the learning process. To develop self control and to live in harmony with others, respect family traditions and keep the laws of the country.

Speaking in English is compulsory within the school, in the school bus and while waiting at the bus stop to board the bus.

Every student shall endeavor to make the school proud by excelling in studies & good manners. Politeness, courtesy in speech & conduct as well as cleanliness and grace of person are to be cherished.

Parental Co – operation

Parents must attend the house meeting to get an update on their child’s academic progress and conduct. In case the parent is unable to attend the open house it must be communicated to the class teacher. Parents must collect the report card within that week.

Parents / Guardians are not allowed to enter the class rooms. They can meet the teacher’s only after getting permission from the Principal.

Parent Teacher Interaction plays an integral and active part in providing our students with the best educational facilities. The School conducts various meetings and workshops for parents and teachers that help in understanding the child better. Special talks on child psychology, parenting, peer-pressure, parents and adolescents etc are presented by recognized and knowledgeable individuals associated with the respective fields.

Withdrawal

No school leaving certificate will be issued unless applied for in writing after all the dues have been cleared

Dismissal

Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or malpractice in connection with examinations, conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school is sufficient reasons for the dismissal of the student.
