Information and Technology Department

The Department of Information Technology was formed with the basic objective of providing skill-based education in the field of information technology. Right from its inception, the department has been offering well built infrastructure facilities with different computer platforms to educate and train professional students to meet the incessant demands of the IT industry.
The Department Strives to produce eminent professionals tuned to the real time working environment. To fulfil this objective, the Software, Hardware and the curriculum are updated regularly. The department offers a competent academic environment with a team of well qualified faculty that ensures the students to excel in their technical exposure. The strength of the department relies on the efficient students who are made aware of the increasing demands of the industry and shape their skills accordingly. The Internet and the various lab facilities are made available to the students.

Faculty Welfare Schemes

	All the members of faculty who pursue Ph.D. programmes can utilize laboratory, software/hardware and other facilities available in the institute.
	Necessary TA and DA are granted to members of faculty for attending Seminars / Conferences / Short Courses in India.
	Registration fee for Faculty Development Programme.
