Mechanical Engineering Department
The department of Mechanical Engineering turns out technical manpower in some of the most sought after of specialization like automobile engineering, machine design, thermal engineering, etc. Alternate Energy sources are the other area of elective which is being developed. The department has the distinction of having not only qualified and trained faculty but well equipped laboratories too.
CAD/CAM centre

It is equipped with 50 Computers with latest modelling software’s and analysis software like ANSYS, used in designing the various mechanical components and to learn about simulation of the same.
CAM laboratory equipped with CNC milling and CNC turning machines and simulation software which helps the students to get training on these sophisticated CNC machines. Besides the curricular activities, the faculty members encourage and guide students in the conduct of seminars, all round personality development programmers, local industry visits, etc. The college arranges country wide industrial-educational tours too.

Mechanical Engineering lab
Mechanical Engineering labs occupy an area of 1297 Esq. Thermal Engineering lab which is probably the largest consists of four sections, viz., the Engines section, Heat and Mass Transfer section Refrigeration and Air conditioning section and the Air Experiments section.

Fluid Mechanics & Machinery Lab
Fluid Mechanics & Machinery Lab is equipped with various types of pumps and turbines like Peloton wheel and Francis turbine and other flow measuring devices.
Workshop & Special machines Lab:
Workshop & Special machines Lab spread out in an area of 890 sq.m. The workshop caters to the needs of the entire college. It has a decent machine shop comprising a bank of centre lathes, Planer, Shaper, Milling machine, Grinding and Drilling machines. Training on these machines will help student to know about the working of machines and their operation.
The Material Science lab
The Material Science lab has all the facilities from the preparation of a sample to polishing and chemical etching of the surface to enhance the microstructure. A number of microscopes help in examining and comparing the microstructure to determine the material properties.
