| Aloe vera is cultivated in our Medicinal plants Garden Aloe vera was known to Indians for its medicinal values since time immemorial in the name of Ghrit Kumaree. It has been medicinally used in Siddha, Vedas, Ayurvedic as laxative, as a liver tonic, as a wound healing agent, as an adaptogen, etc. It is grouped under Rasayana group of herbs, which qualifies it to be consumed regularly without any apprehension of side effects. People in PGP Campus and visitors have found Aloe vera effective and useful. |
