All boys are required to wear uniform pants and shirts with shoes. Collarless shirts are not allowed. They should wear tucked in shirts and pants with shoes while in campus. |

The girls shall wear uniform churidhar with duppattas neatly draped across and pinned, they shall wear and over coat and canvas shoes in the workshop and laboratories. |
|
Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited in and around the campus. |
|
Ragging in any form will lead to dismissal of the student with criminal prosecution. |
|
Students must be punctual for the lecture, tutorial workshop and laboratory classes. |
|
Any student who fails to put in a minimum of 80% attendance and whose academic progress is not satisfactory will not be permitted to write the Board examination. |
|
The Principal shall have full power to impose the punishment such as fine, Suspension, or expulsion whenever, found necessary. |

PGP Polytechnic College follows the fee structure laid down by the Government of Tamilnadu. |

Scholarships are available to eligible students and they are helped in getting educational loans. |
